Localized extensions released

Dictionary Professional, Map Chart Professional and Solver Professional are now available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish and Hungarian. Free versions are soon to follow.

The new versions also bring a large number of subtle bugfixes, so they are recommended for those using the English or Hungarian versions too.

The localizations include user interface elements (dialog boxes and menu items) as well as the entire added help content.

The localization data is rather small and is included with every download. Every OXT file contains all of the different language versions, and will use the one that matches your OpenOffice.org (or EuroOffice) language. If there is no matching localization (for example if you are using Norwegian OpenOffice.org), English is used as a fallback. (If you would rather use a different fallback language, please contact support@multiracio.com for help.)

How to update?

You can use the built-in update mechanism in OpenOffice.org to update to the new versions automatically. Or you can download the OXT files using the download links you were last emailed, and install them as usual, confirming your intention to replace the old version.

WarningNote that your preferences will be retained, but in the case of EuroOffice Dictionary Professional, your customized dictionaries will be replaced with the original ones. To prevent this, you have to back up your custom dictionaries before installing the update. This procedure was described in detail in the 1.4.1 release notes.
