MultiRacio is a member of the winner consortium

The consortium created by FreeSoft Company, Kventa Ltd. and MultiRacio Ltd. won a public procurement procedure of applications based on open source standards.

The consortium created by FreeSoft Company, Kventa Ltd. and MultiRacio Ltd. won a public procurement procedure of applications based on open source standards.

The government opened the software market at the beginning of april, 2009. The result of this procedure is that beside the software licenses using currently in the civil service and in the education, the government will purchase open standard applications with its all services, too. In the next 4 years, the government would like to purchase to the civil service for 4 billion and to the education for 2 billion Forints through this public procurement procedure (id. number TED 2009/S 73-106067). During this procedure these office applications have been chosen:

    EuroOffice 2008 Pro, EuroOffice 2008 + EuroOffice Extensions, StarOffice 9 + EuroOffice/Hungarian Extensions, + its services including support and update (the next EuroOffice 2009 Pro version will be suggested as a new office application by MultiRacio).

The winners of the suppliers in this public procurement procedure:

    * Supplier 1: FreeSoft + Kventa + MultiRacio, (civil service, education)
    * Supplier 2: FEFO + ULX, (civil service, education )
    * Supplier 3: WSH + Navigator (civil service), Commitment (education)

So the consortium created by FreeSoft Company, Kventa Ltd. and MultiRacio Ltd. is in the first place in the civil service and in the education, too which means that the institutions can order products and services directly from them. The contracts were signed on 25. august and available on the website from 28. august.
