New versions of all EuroOffice extensions released

After spending the summer fixing small bugs and adding small improvements, a long-standing issue with custom builds of OpenOffice.org (most notably the build in Ubuntu Linux) has been solved. This issue impacted all of our extensions, so we are releasing new versions of all of them.

Ubuntu Linux and a number of other distributions are not simply adding the official OpenOffice.org build to their repositories, but they are making various customizations to their own builds. Some of these are purely cosmetic (changing the color scheme or the icons to better blend in with their desktops), some introduce a degree of inhomogeneity to OpenOffice.org as an extensions platform.

We are now making it a priority to conduct more extensive testing on these custom builds to support a larger number of users out of the box (previously you had to download the official build of OpenOffice.org to useour extensions on Ubuntu).

The current version already supports OpenOffice.org builds with system Python support if the system installation of Python is of version 2.5 (as opposed to 2.3 that is included in the official builds). 2.5 is the current stable version, but the release candidate of 2.6 is already out, so we will do our best to support it as well in next versions. We also plan to support the release candidate builds of OpenOffice.org 3.0 in our next wave of release.
