Version 1.2 of EuroOffice Grammar Checker released
The new Grammar Checker has the LanguageTool engine integrated and thus supports a large number of languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Dutch, Lithuanian, Slovenian, Swedish and Ukrainian.
Previously EuroOffice Grammar Checker has only supported the Hungarian language using the prorietary Morphologic engine. Now it has been extended with the open-source LanguageTool engine which supports a large number of languages. A detailed list of the extent of support for these languages is available at the LanguageTool site.
EuroOffice Grammar Checker includes LanguageTool 0.9.3-dev. As LanguageTool is developed, we will release updated versions from time to time. Due to the loose coupling between the modules however it is entirely possible to switch the LanguageTool inside EuroOffice Grammar Checker to a different version.
The EuroOffice Language Tools website has been updated with new screenshots.
